Getting started
Install WhatsApp Campaigns for Booknetic, connect Twilio, and understand the approved-template model before you send.
WhatsApp Campaigns lets you message your Booknetic customer list over WhatsApp without exporting a thing — pick an audience segment, choose an approved template, and send. A queue with automatic retries handles delivery; per-recipient logs and a suppression list keep it clean.

Requirements
- Booknetic installed and active (works on Booknetic and Booknetic SaaS).
- The Twilio WhatsApp workflow add-on, with your Twilio WhatsApp credentials configured in Booknetic.
Install & activate
- Download the zip from your Code Heaven account.
- In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install and activate.
- Activate your licence — see Licensing & updates.
A WhatsApp Campaigns menu appears in the Booknetic admin, with the campaign builder, your campaigns, the suppression list and a manual send.
Templates: approved by WhatsApp
WhatsApp only delivers pre-approved message templates. WhatsApp Campaigns syncs your approved templates from Twilio and lets you send only those — so you always stay within WhatsApp’s rules.
- Create and submit templates for approval in your Twilio account.
- Once approved, they appear here, ready to use.
- You personalize the template’s content with customer shortcodes (see Sending campaigns); you don’t author free-form message bodies, by design.
If a template you expect isn’t listed, check its approval status in Twilio — only approved templates sync.
