Terms of Service

Last updated 5 August 2026

Who you are dealing with

Alovio is an independent software studio that builds plugins for WordPress, WooCommerce and Booknetic. These terms cover the software we publish and anything you pay us for.

What we provide

We publish three kinds of thing, and they carry different terms:

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment providers. We never receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown at checkout, and any taxes are applied there according to your location.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Licence keys and updates

A paid licence key activates on the number of sites stated at purchase and may be moved between sites. Updates and support are provided while the licence is active. If a licence lapses, the plugin keeps working — you simply stop receiving updates and support through it.

We may deactivate a key that is shared publicly or used far beyond the sites it was bought for. We will contact you first.

Support

Support for the free plugins is provided on a best-effort basis through the WordPress.org support forums and by email. Paid licences include email support. We answer in the order requests arrive.

Acceptable use

Do not use our software or services to break the law, to send unsolicited messages, or to attack, overload or probe our systems. We may suspend access where that happens.

No warranty

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be compatible with every theme, plugin or hosting environment. You are responsible for keeping backups and for testing before deploying to a live site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

If something goes wrong

Write to us first — hello@alovio.org. Nearly everything is settled that way, and it is faster for both of us than any formal route. Nothing in these terms removes protections you have under consumer law in your own country.
