Sending campaigns

Build a Booknetic email campaign — audience segments and filters, subject and body personalization, batch sending with retries, logs and suppression.

This is the heart of the add-on: choosing who to email, personalizing it, sending, and tracking delivery.

1. Choose your audience

Start from a ready segment, built from your Booknetic data:

  • Recent bookers — last 7, 30 or 90 days (or a custom number of days).
  • Upcoming appointments — the next 7 or 30 days.
  • First-time customers (exactly one appointment) and repeat customers (3+).
  • Lapsed customers — inactive 90 or 180 days, with booking history.
  • Cancelled or rejected in the last 30 days.
  • All customers / all appointments.

Then refine with filters: by service, location, appointment status, and a minimum appointment count. You can also exclude your suppression list.

2. Preview

Before sending, preview shows the recipient count and a sample of the segment — so you send to exactly who you intend.

3. Personalize

Pick a template and personalize the subject and body with customer shortcodes, including:

  • {customer_full_name}, {customer_first_name}, {customer_last_name}, {customer_name}
  • {customer_email}

Each recipient gets their own details merged in.

4. Send

Send immediately, or let the queue work through the list. A test send lets you email yourself first, and a manual send lets you email a specific person or list without a segment.

The sending engine

Delivery runs through a background queue so a large campaign never blocks your admin:

  • Batched sending, a chunk at a time.
  • Automatic retries on failures, with a back-off between attempts.
  • Pause and resume a running campaign without losing state.
  • A live progress view as it sends.

Logs & suppression

  • Per-recipient tracking records each email’s status (sent / failed) and any error, and exports to CSV.
  • The suppression list is checked before every send, so opted-out addresses are always skipped.

SaaS
