WordPress / Alovio Calculator

Getting started

Install Alovio Calculator, build your first cost or quote calculator, and place it on a page in minutes.

Alovio Calculator is a free WordPress plugin for building live, formula-driven cost, price and quote calculators — give visitors an instant, accurate price while you capture the lead. This page gets you from install to a working calculator on a page.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.2 or newer.
  • PHP 7.4 or newer (8.x fully supported).
  • No WooCommerce required — Alovio Calculator works on any WordPress site.

Install

  1. In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for Alovio Calculator.
  3. Click Install, then Activate.

A Calculator menu appears in the admin sidebar. That’s the builder.

Build your first calculator

  1. Go to Calculator → Add New and give it a name. Start from a ready template or a blank canvas.
  2. Add fields from the builder — number, dropdown, slider, quantity, toggle and more. See Building calculators for the full list.
  3. Put prices on your choice fields, or write a formula for the total, e.g. {area} * {rate}. The running total updates live.
  4. Use the Preview tab (Desktop / Tablet / Mobile) to test it as a visitor would.

Place it on a page

Every calculator has a shortcode like [alovio_calculator id="12"]. Copy it onto any page, post or widget — or drop in the Alovio Calculator block in the editor. Pick one of the six themes so it matches your site. Full details in Embedding & themes.

Capture the lead

Turn on the quote request form and each submission is stored as an entry you can read, export to CSV, and get emailed about. See Quote requests & entries.

What’s in Pro

The free plugin covers fields, formulas, conditional logic, templates, themes and lead capture. Alovio Calculator Pro adds the quote workflow: a multi-step wizard, branded PDF quotes, webhooks & Zapier, and quote analytics. See Pro features.
