Booknetic / Staff Durations

Staff Durations

Give each staff member their own duration for a Booknetic service — no duplicate services. Panels, reschedule and notifications all follow.

Staff Durations lets one service take a different amount of time depending on who performs it — a senior stylist finishes a haircut in 25 minutes, a new hire needs 45 — without duplicating the service per staff member. Set an override with a single checkbox and the whole booking flow follows.

Requirements

  • Booknetic installed and active (works on Booknetic and Booknetic SaaS).

Install & activate

  1. Download the zip from your Code Heaven account and upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate it, then activate your licence — see Licensing & updates.

Set a per-staff duration

  1. Edit a service in Booknetic.
  2. In the service’s staff assignment list, each staff row gains a Specific duration checkbox.
  3. Tick it for a staff member and pick their duration in minutes.
  4. Save the service.

Leave the checkbox unticked and that staff member keeps the service’s default duration. Remove a staff member from the service and their override is cleaned up automatically.

Where the override applies

Once set, the per-staff duration is respected everywhere it matters:

  • The booking panel — picking that staff member updates the service length and the available time slots.
  • Reschedule flows.
  • Reports and workflow notifications (the service-duration value in your emails reflects the override).

Works with Custom Durations

If you also run Booknetic’s Custom Durations add-on, that add-on takes precedence for any service it’s active on — Staff Durations applies to the rest. The two coexist cleanly; a given service uses one or the other.

SaaS & cleanup

On Booknetic SaaS every override is scoped to the tenant. The add-on also tidies up after itself — when a staff member or service is removed, the related overrides go with them.
