Licensing & updates

Alovio’s free plugins live on WordPress.org and update like any other plugin. The Pro add-ons are sold on Code Heaven and need a licence key to unlock and to receive updates. This page covers both.

Free plugins

Plugins like Alovio Calculator and Alovio Checkout Fields are on WordPress.org. Install and update them from Plugins → Add New or the Plugins → Updates screen — no key required.

Pro add-ons: activate your licence

After buying a Pro add-on (for example Cuspan Pro or Tendir Pro) on Code Heaven:

1. Download the plugin zip from your Code Heaven account.
2. In wp-admin, Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install and activate.
3. Open the plugin’s Licence screen and paste the licence key from your Code Heaven purchase.
4. Click Activate.

Once activated, the plugin is unlocked on that site and will check for updates automatically.

Updates

With a valid licence, Pro updates appear on the normal Plugins → Updates screen — update with one click, just like a free plugin. If updates stop appearing, your licence has likely expired or been deactivated; re-activate it on the Licence screen.

Moving a site

A licence is tied to your account, not locked to one machine for life. If you move or rebuild a site, deactivate the licence on the old site (or from your Code Heaven account) and activate it on the new one.
