Getting started

Alovio Product Options is a free WooCommerce plugin for adding extra fields and paid add-ons to your products — engraving text, gift wrap, rush production, finishes — with a drag-and-drop builder, conditional logic, and a live options total that updates before add-to-cart.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.4 or newer.
• WooCommerce active.
• PHP 7.4 or newer.

It’s compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

Install

1. In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New and search Alovio Product Options.
2. Click Install, then Activate.

Add options to a product

The builder lives right on the product, as a Product Options panel on the product edit screen:

1. Edit any product (Products → All Products → Edit).
2. Scroll to the Product Options box.
3. Add fields from the palette — text, dropdown, checkbox, a fixed surcharge and more.
4. Give priced fields a price; use the Preview tab to test it live.
5. Save the product.

Each product has its own independent set of options — build exactly what that product needs.

What the customer sees

On the product page, your options appear above the Add to cart button. As the customer fills them in, a running options total shows what they’re adding, formatted in your store currency. Their choices follow through to the cart, the order, and order emails — see Add-on pricing.
