How to accept Paystack payments in Booknetic
Add Paystack as a payment method in Booknetic — NGN, GHS, ZAR, KES, USD, EUR and GBP, one-click API key setup, and per-tenant accounts on Booknetic SaaS.
If your booking business runs in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa or Kenya, your customers pay through Paystack — it’s the payment rail much of Africa runs on. Booknetic doesn’t speak it out of the box: the stock gateways cover Stripe, PayPal and a few others, so Paystack-first businesses fall back to “pay at the venue” and eat the no-shows that come with it.
The Paystack Gateway for Booknetic add-on closes that gap. Here’s the whole setup, start to finish.
What you need
- Booknetic installed and active — the regular plugin or Booknetic SaaS both work.
- A Paystack account with your API keys.
- The add-on itself — a one-time $9, no subscription.
Step 1 — Install the add-on
Download the zip from your Code Heaven account, upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate, and activate your licence. That’s the entire install.
Step 2 — Connect Paystack
In Booknetic’s payment-gateway settings, enable Paystack and paste your API keys. The gateway validates the keys as you enter them — you find out they’re right (or wrong) before a customer does, not after a failed booking.
Two more switches and you’re done:
- Customer email — optionally customize the email sent for a payment.
- Enable / disable — turn the gateway on or off per installation without losing the config.
Step 3 — Charge in your currency
The gateway supports NGN, GHS, ZAR, KES, USD, EUR and GBP. Price your Booknetic services in whichever of those your customers actually use — no conversion workarounds.
What the customer sees
At the booking panel’s payment step, Paystack appears alongside your other gateways. The customer completes payment on Paystack’s own secure flow — the card-grade checkout they already know — and on success the booking is marked paid automatically. No manual reconciliation.
On Booknetic SaaS
Multi-tenant setups work per workspace: each tenant connects their own Paystack account, so every business on your platform gets paid directly into its own Paystack balance.
Get it
Paystack Gateway is $9 one-time on the Alovio store — setup details live in the docs. It stacks with the other gateways, so you’re adding a payment option, not replacing one.
